CVVFA 2026 Fall Meeting

Description

The Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association (CVVFA) will hold its Fall meeting on Sunday October 25, 2026, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, at Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Station 8, 401 Ogletown Road, Newark, DE

A training session including a live demonstration of Aetna Traffic 9 will be offered during the afternoon on Saturday October 24, at Station 8.  The event description will be updated with times and additional details once available. 

Please note that hotel rates this weekend in the area are significantly higher than we are accustomed to encountering.  Director Chornock was able to secure a block of hotel rooms at a discounted rate of $175 per night at Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Wilmington South, 654 South College Avenue, Newark, DE 19713. This rate is available for both Friday 10/23 and Saturday 10/24. Please be aware that this discounted rate is only available until and rooms must be booked by 10/3/2026.
