The Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association (CVVFA) will hold its Spring meeting on Sunday May 18, 2025, at the Fairview Township Fire Department, 340 Lewisberry Road New Cumberland, PA 17070.

We have scheduled the 2025 Spring Meeting to coincide with the LCFA Fire Expo, which is being held on Friday May 16 and Saturday May 17 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show & Expo Center in Harrisburg, PA. 

CVVFA/ERSI will have an exhibition booth providing educational and awareness materials supporting responder safety initiatives.  Come support and learn from CVVFA President, Chief David Lewis who will be leading training sessions on Friday and Saturday. 

Roadway Operations for Firefighters and EMTs

Every day, fire/rescue, EMS, law enforcement, tow operators, and highway safety personnel are at risk while responding to incidents along the nation’s roadways. Learn what actions you can take to protect yourself and your personnel during these incidents. Traffic Incident Management (TIM) principles should be incorporated into every department’s training requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). A look at current regulations, standards, equipment, training, and best practices will help keep your people safe on the roadways.
